Facility
Western Haematology and Oncology Clinics, owned and operated by Montserrat Cancer Care, specialises in the care and support of patients with blood disorders, chronic illness and cancer.
Our vision has always been to create a hospital environment that is comforting to patients and staff while housing some of the most talented Haematologists and Oncologists across Australia. Our centres facilitate a care philosophy of wellness through treatment for cancer, rather than illness.
The clinic has 12 infusion chairs, which enables patients to be treated in a fully licensed environment under the care of specialised staff.
With floor to ceiling views of West Perth’s Totterdell park, hospital patients of Western Haematology and Oncology Clinics receive complimentary on-site car parking, a tailored menu and personalised care.

Prof. Ross Baker
Prof. Ross Baker
Haemato-Oncologist
Prof. Baker has extensive clinical and laboratory experience in a wide range of haematological disorders and has been a consultant in haematology for over 20 years. His major interest is the translation of new scientific discoveries into clinical haematology practice.
Dr Maan Alwan
Dr Maan Alwan
Dr Alwan has clinical interest in both malignant and non-malignant haematology. As a clinical investigator at Perth Blood Institute, he is strongly involved in clinical trials and research in myeloma, lymphoma and clotting and bleeding disorders.
Dr Andrew Fantoni
Dr Andrew Fantoni
Dr Fantoni has over 15 years of experience working in healthcare and a strong passion for improving cancer outcomes in Western Australia. He treats a broad range of cancer types including genito-urinary cancers, breast cancer and gastrointestinal cancers.
Dr Wei-Sen Lam
Dr Wei-Sen Lam
Dr Lam has special interests in lung cancer and mesothelioma. With a keen interest in research, Dr Lam has been actively involved, as a principal investigator in several lung cancer trials. He is also passionate about improving cancer services for rural and remote WA through his work with the WA Country Health Service.
Emma Slee
Emma Slee
Emma has practised in the area of Oncology for the majority of her career, most of which has been in the hospital setting with inpatients. In 2019 Emma established Empower Oncology Nutrition to provide specialised dietary advice at the community level for those with cancer.
